We were staying in Locarno on Lago Maggiore and this was the view from outside our hotel!
There were also some palm trees in Locarno :D
On Tuesday we spent the morning in a place called Lavertezzo in a mountain valley. It was simply beautiful!
The same day we visited Ascona which was also on Lago Maggiore and as the sun set I took this one =D
On the Wednesday we visited Luino Market in Italy on the train. On the way back we jumped off at a place called Gera and some sunset photo-taking ensued! One of my favourites :D below!
On our final day we took a trip up into the mountains via a combination of fernicular railway and cable car which was awesome! This was the view which greeted us at the top =D
We also found a lot of snow up there which was enjoyed by all! This was just a very small selection of the photos. The full album is on Picasa, here!
